Daily Notes

At about noon today I put up the video “Say These 6 Simple Words To The Universe And Watch What Happens!” video on my “Law of Attraction” YouTube website. My channel has been neglected as of late with all the moving going on, but I still have over 1000 subscribers. Once I get back into posting regular videos it will surely go up. I purchased a large external hard drive to download my previous videos to. Once this happens I can start the video editing process again. My other hard drive didn’t make the trip to Courtenay unfortunately!

Oh, I did check another lottery ticket, this time a “Montana Mega Millions” lottery ticket. Bah humbug! Another loser… (see photo to the right).

My wife took the kids to an Art Exhibit this morning and they got to meet the artist. He asked who was the “artist” of the group, and my daughter’s name was given. He took her to his workshop and even offered to teach her how to weld. I might take her to this…I would like to learn to weld as well! They picked up a dragonfly sculpture (see photo to the left).

This afternoon we tackled the “Compost” issue full on. I took the shredder to the stable area and we made great progress in shredding a lot of the carboard boxes that we used for the move. My son and daughter showed up to help out! We took two full loads of the utility cart to add to the mowed grass clippings. A lot of water, sunshine, and air, and wait… That should do the trick. Our daughter even mowed the area around the compost heap this afternoon so that the various vines and such would not scratch her legs.

My son was out riding his scooter this afternoon and met Mitchell, a kid in the neighborhood who is just about his age. He let him ride his bike while he took a turn on my son’s scooter. He has a younger sister who is seven years old.

This evening I wanted to treat my daughter for all the hard work she did this afternoon, so we went out for a Daddy/Daughter Day. We stopped off at Home Depot to get some “Miracle Gro” for my wife, then to Walmart to get some bed cover “fasteners” so the bed covers do not come off. I was also looking for a dishpan but they were out. Can you believe Walmart out of dishpans? Aren’t they synonymous… 🙂

Talking about Walmart, there was this cute little red car parked just outside the entrance with a dog in it (see photo to the right). The car was so small it looked like the dog was the driver, but I asked the greeter inside the door and she told me that someone drives his little car to Walmart quite often to do shopping. I tried to find the type of car it was but on the back of the vehicle was the website address of OrthoQuad.com. Not sure if this is street legal?

Next up was Tim Hortons. I hadn’t eaten since noon so I was starved! I had their habanero chicken wrap with chili and my daughter had a “French Vanilla” with Tim Bits. I made sure that the “French Vanilla” didn’t have coffee in it, but she told me that it was disgusting none-the-less.
