2025-02-02 - 30 Day Diet Challenge

I made some Instant Pot vegetable soup “almost” as per the instructions (see photo to the right). Some changes so far:

  • I made some changes to the soup: ½ cup rice, only 1 can beans, ¼ cup chia seeds, ¼ cup flax seeds, ¼ cup quinoa. 
  • Soup or salad or both? 
  • Vitamins + B12 spray! 
  • 5 Sets of Exercises, Not 3!
  • 100g fish EVERY DAY!
  • Creamer for coffee (Prefer vegan)!

So how did the eating go on this first day? Pretty good. I had two full meal sequences. For each I chose to have soup, and no salad, rather than soup & salad, or just salad. I had some air fried potatoes along with this soup. I also had a slice of “sprouted grain” bread with PB2 & Jam for each meal, and blueberries as my choice of fruit/berries.

Before bed this evening I had coffee with some creamer (not vegan as I’m using it up), 100g of kippered snacks, and a raisin biscuit that I picked up at Quality Foods yesterday with PB2 & Jam.

Exercise? I did 30 minutes of rowing this evening in front of the TV as I watched Maggie Murphy’s videos on “Manifesting Weight Loss“!
