Good morning! Welcome to Day #9 of “The Magic”, which is “The Money Magnet”. Upon waking this morning, I quickly wrote down the 10 things that I am grateful for today, and you can see them all in “My Daily Journal”. I have decided to highlight one of the things that I am thankful for in red so that I can quickly go through the other day’s thankful items when I wake up in the morning. With 10 new additions to the list each day it is hard to go through all of them, so highlighting the main one each day will help the process along.
Today’s lesson focuses on the fact that the more grateful you can be for the money that you currently have, even if it is not much, then the more riches that you will receive in the future.
The lesson has you take two bills that you have not yet paid and write the words “THANK YOU FOR THE MONEY“ in bold lettering on top of them (see photo to the right). I did not use upper case the first time, so I went back and redid it to be sure. Most of my bills are online these days, but I do get some credit card statements in the mail, so I found a couple from VISA that worked out nicely.
The lesson then has you take ten bills that you have already paid for and write the words not yet paid and write the words “Thank You – Paid.“ directly on top of them (see photo to the right). The lesson also recommends that you continue this practice with the bills that you receive in the future.
I went for a drive this afternoon to think more about “The Magic” and see if I could manifest some coins into my life. I ended up at “Epilogue Books” on Franklin Street as it is Sunday, so I get free parking in the lot behind the store, and it seemed like a wonderful opportunity to try it out. By the time I arrived at the shop I had to go to the bathroom, and I needed to go to the front desk to get the code to the door (#3529 by the way), but I made it… 😊 Is this a form of visualization? Not sure, but I will take it… 😊 I picked up an Americano with a ”splash” of Almond Milk and 2 Splenda (see photo to the right) since it was an excellent choice at Panera Bread the other day. It cost me $4.19, definitely the most expensive coffee I have had in a while. I sat on one of the comfortable chairs in the area where they sell used books and read more about today’s lesson.
In tandem with “The Secret” I have been reading the other Kindle book on the same subject, namely “How the Secret Changed My Life.” Here are some interesting thoughts regarding what I read today…
On Page #52 it mentions “Secret Shifters”, which are things to focus on to change your negative feelings in an instant. I decided to create a list of them in “My Daily Journal”, and started off with the time Chris Starkey spent the night in the car with me preparing me for my time at Ambassador College.
On Page #53 it mentions “Imagine what you really want, really visualize having it, feel the happiness inside you, and the law of attraction will find the perfect way for you to receive it”. I decided to use this technique and drive around looking for my “KWF” coin!
On Page #57 it relays the story of a lady who pays for an upgraded seat on an airplane for a lady who cannot afford it. She asks the flight attendant to do this anonymously, and in return is rewarded with this gift without charge and a free meal as well. This got me to think that I should do a random act of kindness to someone each day, and I will keep track of them in “My Daily Journal”. I am starting to accumulate quite the “To Do” list of activities each day, but if I really want to figure this out, I need to get to it!
Just before leaving the coffee shop, I asked, “The Universe” to help me be open to “The Truth” and learn what I need to learn AS QUICKLY as I can. In many ways it feels like I am starting the second half of my life in which “The Magic” is the focus, but in case I do not have many more years left I do not want to be messing around time wise to come to learn what I need to learn. Quickness is important at this stage of the game. For example, help me to learn as quickly as I can to get that money as soon as possible.
My initial thought was to drive out to Fearrington Village and walk around and see if I could find any coins there, but as I was driving in that direction, I took a left turn and ended up on the road to the Governor’s Club. By the time I got there I needed to go to the bathroom, so I ended up at the Food Lion.
I was looking for coins on the ground all the way to the bathroom and back. No luck. On the way back to the car I was about to open the car door when I happened to notice three objects right beside each other on the ground (see photo to the left). The top two are cap tops for a container, and the middle one looks like a washer of some sort. I am reminded of the story of the girl who used to find buttons before she came across the coins she was visualizing. I am using this as a sign that my coins, especially the one special coin with the ”KWF” on it, are on their way and will be in my hands very soon!
