Welcome to Day #27 of “The Magic”, which is “The Magic Mirror”. This morning, as is the norm, I made my list of the 10 things that I am grateful for inside “My Daily Journal”.
Today’s lesson taught us to love ourselves and be grateful for ourselves just as we are. We had to look at ourselves in the mirror and show our appreciation for ourselves. This helps us to accept our mistakes and to not criticize ourselves when we are not perfect.
I went to Trader Joe’s for groceries this morning after dropping my boy off at school. I had the best parking spot in the lot, but my focus was on finding coins. Alas, I fell short in this regard at Trader Joe’s and everywhere I went to today. I did find a lens of eyeglasses on the ground at Trader Joe’s (see photo to the left), but you cannot really take this to the bank. I am mentally working out what I need to do and overcome to bring these coins into my life.
I spent the evening experimenting with YouTube videos and how to create captions on them. As it turns out, a software program called VEED does a wonderful job with this. It has a free version, but if you are going to churn out any number of videos you will need to pay about $25 a month, which is not bad considering what you get.
