We are close to the end of the Kindle book “The Magic”. In fact yesterday, Day #28, was the last official day of instruction. Today’s chapter deals with “Your Magical Future”. Nonetheless, I made sure to make a list of the 10 things that I am grateful for. I put them inside “My Daily Journal”.
I woke up several times in the night. Each time I woke up the thought of “The Green Chef” came to mind. I was dreaming about a chef who used organic ingredients and made delicious meals. There might have been a food cart involved from what I recollect. Now I’m not sure exactly what this means, as I personally have never wanted to be a chef, at least full-time, although I do enjoy eating healthy foods.
At any rate, I thought I had better record this thought here in case something comes of it in the future. It was still dark outside, and I was fumbling around in the dark for a piece of paper and a pen. The best I could find was a paper towel, so I used that. You can see the note that I left in the photo to the right. I then went back to bed. When I got up for good later in the morning, I looked at this note once again. No bit ”ah ha” moments. I will see if something comes of this in the days ahead.
I will start off today’s teaching by mentioning some quotes from “The Magic” book.
Page #241 states “You are the builder of your life, and gratitude is your magical tool to build the most incredible life”. “There is no end to the heights you can reach with gratitude, and there’s no end to the magic you can experience”. “The ideal way to move forward from here is to maintain the foundation of gratitude you’ve built, and gradually keep building on it through increasing your depth of feeling.
Today I am going to meditate some more on which practices I will incorporate into my daily routine moving forward. I am sure this will change as I learn more, but at least it is a starting point. I would love to incorporate everything I have learned so far, but there is only 24 hours in the day… 😊
This afternoon I had a “breakthrough” in regard to meditation, at least I think so. I was listening to my air conditioner meditation video, and it came to me that here are the keys:
- Abraham says that being “joyful” is the #1 state. Put yourself in a kinesthetic state. Put a smile on your face and you will be happy as the saying goes.
- View this time as the time you are going to talk to your very best friend in the world, in fact the best friend you could ever have, your true self, the vortex who knows you above all else, has only your well-being in mind, and will never leave you or betray you.
- Realize that you are the happiest you have ever been, talking to your best friend, that you don’t need anything in the world, and that you wish this time could go on forever.
- Abraham knows what you need so there is no need to have thoughts. Just connect with your friend, enjoy the moment, and he will speak to you when the time is right with little suggestions to move your life forward.
I completed my first “short” video for my LoA Codes channel today. When I uploaded it, the thumbnail it created was not the best, so I will work on that tomorrow (see photo to the right for the updated thumbnail). You need a smart phone to be able to change the thumbnail on a YouTube short. Go figure! For starters, I wanted the treasure chest as a backgroundI wanted to have some eyes, so I added a girl cheering, and I wanted the words ”TOP SECRET” to add an aura of mystery to the video. Let’s see if this will get plenty of views and subscribers.
