Day #0039 – (Fri., Oct. 6, 2023) – 14,000 Things To Be Happy About

Yesterday I purchased the Kindle book “14,000 Things to Be Happy About” from Amazon online. I’m going to use this book to spur ideas on what I can be thankful for outside of what I normally recognize. Today is the first day in which I have used this book, and after going through various pages, here are my “10 Morning Blessings”:

  1. I am so happy and grateful for the tiny blueberry muffins my mother used to make. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  2. I am so happy and grateful for cookies with candied cherries on top (eg: an example from the book). Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  3. I am so happy and grateful for saltwater taffy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  4. I am so happy and grateful for cotton candy at the fair when I was a child. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  5. I am so happy and grateful for crispy bacon. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  6. I am so happy and grateful for cinnamon apple waffles with real maple syrup. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  7. I am so happy and grateful for coffee shop coffee. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  8. I am so happy and grateful for fresh squeezed watermelon juice. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  9. I am so happy and grateful for Australian passion fruit. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  10. I am so happy and grateful for Australian mangoes. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

2023-10-06 - Corner TableAnd thank you for the good news that is coming to me today!

Today’s “Act of Kindness”: I was very kind and nice to the cashier at Panera Bread this afternoon.

Today’s “Main Blessing”: The Kindle book I purchased to help me think of 14,000 extra things to be thankful for!

I stopped off at Panera Bread this afternoon for a coffee. I was really nice to the cashier, and she happened to mention about their “Sip Club”. I think previous cashiers had mentioned this before, but today I took notice. At any rate, if you join this club you can get as much coffee as you want for one monthly fee. It’s normally $11 per month, but for the next 4 months it is only $5. So for $5 per month, I can show up at Panera Bread whenever I want and drink coffee! This sure beats the $3 per cup that I am currently spending. The Law of Attraction is already saving me money… 🙂

While at Panera Bread I was able to get the cozy little table in the corner today (see photo to the right). This is usually taken, so the Universe decided to bless me in this area as well… 🙂

While at Panera Bread I was thinking about our dream home, and what we really want. It came to me that we are seeing what is currently available and trying to figure out how to pay for it. What we need to do is figure out our dream home and let the Universe bring it to us and do the financing issue.

In this regard I was inspired by the story on page #171 of “How The Secret Change My Life”. It talks about Kelly from Indiana and how she wanted a dream job and visualized what this would be like, down to even smelling the lemon Pledge on her huge mahogony desk. Sounds good, I want a mahogony desk in my new home now!
