And thank you for the good news that is coming to me today!
Today’s “Act of Kindness”: While I was at Planet Fitness this afternoon I bent over and picked up a bookmark that was on the floor and handed it to the lady who was reading the book on an exercise bike.
Today’s “Main Blessing”: My dream about the lottery. Even though I didn’t win, I have the feeling that I am onto something!
I was up around 9 am this morning, but feeling still a bit tired, so thought I would go back to bed and try to meditate for a bit. I was focusing on my breathing and gradually drifted off. I remember visualizing a beach with tiny rocks, and the view in my mind’s eye was like a drone flying slowly overhead. Soon after that there was a border collie trying to climb out of the freezer with bags of frozen fruit underneath. Soon after that the numbers: 329 flashed in my mind’s eye. Kind of like they were written down on a piece of paper. Could that piece of paper have been a lottery ticket? As you can see from yesterday’s blog, I have been thinking of the North Carolina “Pick 3” lottery. As I write this, I’m seeing the Marathon service station at 282 W Main St. in Carrboro. I’ve gotten gas there a couple of times before, but I have never been inside, at least as far as I can recollect. Should I get a “Pick 3” lottery ticket at this location and choose the numbers 329? I just looked up the “Pick 3” lottery and see that there is an additional number called the “Fireball” at the end. I didn’t see this number in my dream, but if I need to choose it, I will choose “1” as this just flashed in my mind’s eye. In the photo to the left, you can see that I did go to this service station this morning and purchased two tickets. One for the afternoon draw at 3 pm, and the other for the evening draw around 11 pm.
As I go through all these teachings and videos of the “Law of Attraction”, there are various things I learn that I should do, and some that just pop into my mind that I should do. I don’t want to lose these as they might prove to be vital to learn how to get the “Law of Attraction” to work for me. So, I created a reminder list to keep track of these ideas. I will probably put the date next to the item once it has been completed.
So, let’s talk about the lottery tickets that I purchased today. As noted previously, and as you can see in the photo, I chose the numbers “329”. When the results for the lottery at 3 pm were announced, I thought I had won as the pick was “229” (see photo to the right), and I had the numbers “29” on my ticket. I went back to the service station where I picked up my tickets all excited. Well, because I chose “Exact Match” instead of “All”, no win! In the evening draw you can see that I only got the “3” right, so no win!
I’m not sure what to think at this stage. The dream that I had with the “329” seemed so vivid, especially since I was looking into the “Pick 3” lottery before I went to bed…
