Here it is Thursday… Let’s get things rolling with item #1 on my “ToDo List”:

  1. Create my “10 Morning Blessings / Gratitude List” immediately upon rising.

    • #5) I am so happy and grateful for lessening the impact of a horror movie by filtering it through one’s fingers. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #6) I am so happy and grateful for being tall enough to reach. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #7) I am so happy and grateful for old medical or legal texts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #8) I am so happy and grateful for lemon pound cake. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #9) I am so happy and grateful for Veronique Vienne’s The Art of Doing Nothing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #10) I am so happy and grateful for diapers and baby food. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • And thank you for good news that is coming to me today!
  2. Dieting Thoughts: I am losing weight through (a) Intermittent Fasting, (b) Non-Fat Foods, (c) <2000 Calories, (d) Daily Exercises: I ate pretty well today. Mostly potatoes, with olives, pickles, and beets. I did have a couple of bananas at the end of the day, but no bread today!
  3. Daily Mediations (3 total) (with my “air conditioner” background video if possible). (a) Ask “Source” for Next Step, (b) “Dream Home” in Courtenay, and (c) “KWF Coin”. I had a meditation session in the afternoon (you can read about it below).
  4. Bless Food (Before Eating): Well, I just had a big dish of potatoes and, no, at least not yet today!
  5. Update “Dream List” (Add/Remove/Update). I’m working on cutting up pieces of Mark Weins videos.
  6. Update “Vision Board” (Add/Remove/Update). Nope. Gotta get back to this…
  7. Before going to bed, do or record my “Act of Kindness”: I got a grocery cart for a lady at Trader Joe’s (for yesterday’s act), and was extremely nice to the checkout guy (for today’s act).
  8. Before going to bed, clutch my “Gratitude Rock” and record my “Main Blessing” for today: Yes, while the rock was still in the envelope as I’m fighting off something and drifted off pretty quickly this evening.
2023-11-09 - Strap

As I was going to Panera Bread after getting my allergy shot, I noticed a strap on the sidewalk (see photo to the right). I thought of taking it into the counter, but I think that someone who is looking for this would be looking in this area and would not think to go inside and ask at the counter. So, one strap, but no coins…

It’s Day #3 of the ChatGPT 30-Day Plan, and my task for today is 15 minutes of meditation. I had a nap this afternoon and fulfilled this goal. I didn’t meditate about anything in particular, I just listened to the air conditioner, and drifted off with this feeling of being where I’m supposed to be, and with HAPPY thoughts, as Abraham Hicks suggests.

Just before my nap I took some time to cut out pieces from a Mark Wiens video that makes me happy every time I see it. It revolves him visiting Istanbul, the flight there, the hotel, and what he eats while there. My idea is to put these clips into one long video that I can watch each evening before I go to bed. Dr. Tara Swart says that you should look at your “Action Board” just before you go to sleep, so how much better would a video be?
