- This evening do or record my “Act of Kindness”: I emailed 5 teachers at Crescent Elementary School in Bedkley, West Virginia).
I’ve started a new plan to send out a “template” email to record me daily “thank you’s” and thoughts throughout the day rather than having to recall the daily events while at the computer at the end of the day. Let’s see how this works.
I haven’t totally implemented the “17 Second Rule” that Abrham Hicks has been talking about, but I think focusing on the concept of “Joy & Chill” might be a good idea. I’ll keep you posted.
I went to China Wok for lunch today and had Schewan Chicken with some Hot & Sour Soup. I got access to their password, which is “china@wok”, but they didn’t seem too eager to give it to me. I think they are interested in saving a few pennies by not letting people use it.
While at Panera Bread this afternoon I watched a video that got me to thinking about LF and abusive people and how to best deal with people like this.
I’ve been thinking more and more today about how to get to my ideal weight. I saw that there is a book on sale at Amazon by David A. Sinclair called “Lifespan: Why We Age – and Why We Don’t Have To“. At only $1.99 it’s quite the deal, so I downloaded the Kindle version this evening.
I got an email from AARP and thought that the AARP’s list of foods that you can eat and not gain weight was interesting. They are:
- Celery
- Lettuce
- Watermelon
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Grapefruit
- Mushrooms
- Strawberries
- Blackberries
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Kiwi
- Carrots
- Spinach
- Kale
