Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is almost here! Let’s get rolling with item #1 on my “Newly Minted” “ToDo List”:

Morning Routine

  1. Remember “JOY & CHILL”: (Yes, most definitely. This is my mantra of the day).
  2. 17 Second Rule: (I’m thinking more and more about this and will implementing a morning routine around this principle in the days ahead).
  3. Be “Grateful/Thankful”:
    • Write down “10 Things” to be thankful for. NOTE SOURCE: “14,000” book, “Bucket List” PDF’s, “Personal Manifestations”, or “Simple Pleasure”.
    • #1) I am so happy and grateful for sitting in a rocker, listening to the silence and reflecting. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #2) I am so happy and grateful for no line for the restroom. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #3) I am so happy and grateful for an old-time corn popper with rotary agitator. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • #4) I am so happy and grateful for the ability of parents to guide their small children around by the tops of their heads. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

(I had a good meditation at noon today. I was asking “The Source” on what my next steps were, and just before I woke up, I had the thought “Be Very Specific”, so I’m going to try to do this in my vision board and video moving forward.

  • Put On Shin Cream: (PM).

Evening Routine:

  • This evening do or record my “Act of Kindness”: (Not today).
  • Before going to bed, clutch my “Gratitude Rock” and record my “Main Blessing” for today: (Not today).

Daily Notes

2024-01-12 - Hiding Girl

Take a look at the list of items before this “Daily Notes” heading. This is the new format of what I plan to do each day. Some are “musts”, and some are “nice to’s”, but I think the act of having this list is so that nothing will fall through the cracks. Whether I do these items each day or not, well, that’s another matter. Let’s go with this for now and see what happens. Above all else, remember “Joy & Chill”.

At Panera Bread this afternoon this little girl (see photo to the right) was hiding from her grandfather. I see her and her brother at Panera Bread from time to time with what appears to be their grandfather. Maybe the parents are working, and he takes care of them during the day?

I read a bit more of my Kindle version of Joe Weider “Self-Defense Course”. It sure brings back memories of 1973 when I purchased this course in what I believe was November or December just before Christmas. I remember setting up a little “dummy” from the ceiling in the basement where I would practice my drop kicks. My how time flies… I wonder where I would be now if I had taken this opportunity to pursue my “black belt” at the newly formed karate school in my home town.

I bought another “Pick 3” lottery ticket later this afternoon but alas, it too was a “loser”. I’ve really got to figure out what it means to be “inspired”, and what this feels like, and some “rewards” for acting upon the right type of inspiration, like Abraham Hicks talks about.
