Daily Notes

2024-01-18 - Bread

My son is still not feeling well so he stayed home from school today. I had to go get my allergy shot, so I stopped off for a cup of coffee at Panera Bread both coming and going. Warm bread is ready to go (see photo to the left), but I didn’t get any. While I sat at the booth, sipping on my coffee, I started Lesson #2 of the “Joe Weider Self-Defense Course”. Nice to finish #1…I’m not sure if I actually read the whole lesson when I had this course as a teenager.

On my “ToDo” list for quite a while has been the “17 Second Method”. Abraham Hicks talks about this is what is needed to sustain a thought, and add to it, to create something bigger. Here is a great video that shows how to incorporate this into your daily routine before you start the day, so I spent most of the day creating my own version of this video. Oh, and as per my research, here are a number of other videos on this subject:

My LoA Codes YouTube channel crossed the 300-subscriber mark this evening!

I created a page on this blog for the Kung Fu (1972 television series). It has a lot of great philosophy in it, and as I watch all the episodes, I want to take notes so that I can compare these teachings with what I am learning about the Law of Attraction. Here’s a great article on Taoism, which is similar…
