Day #0155 – (Tue., Jan. 30, 2024) – Red Convertible With Black Top

Happy Tuesday! Hope you are having a great day today. Let’s get things started with item #1 on my “ToDo List”:

DAILY “MUST” Routine…

  1. OVERVIEW”: I’m gradually getting this “Law of Attraction” thing figured out. Basically, nobody can put anything into your experience if you don’t want it. It’s up to you to either attract what you want or what you don’t want. That’s it! If there are bad things happening around you, you can acknowledge that they exist, for it is through this that you realize what you want, but only you decide if it will be part of your experience moving forward. You’re better off to say, well if that’s what they want, they can have it, but I choose to take a different path. I choose to be joyful, and if I am joyful all the time, I will only have those things that make me happy and joyful show up in my experience. 
  2. “JOY & CHILL”: Be Happy, Relax, and Enjoy the Process! This video pretty well wraps up ALL of Abraham Hicks’ teachings! Namely: “I’m going to be as happy as I can be, as often as I can”.
  3. “BILLIONS AWAIT YOU”: Check out the video in item #1 again! It’s all in a circle. The money that LF took from you can be replaced by BILLIONS if you follow what is taught in the video mentioned in Item #2.
  4. Mother Teresa said “Yes” to peace rallies, “No” to anti-war rallies. Wish LF the best on his journey and be on your way!
  5. “NO MORE BADDIES”: Don’t worry about learning lessons from your experience with LF. If you focus on implementing the “Law of Attraction”, no more bad people will come into your future, so you won’t have to learn lessons to deal with them.
  6. “CONFRONTATIONAL SITUATION”: When in a confrontational situation, “stand up for what you believe”, but learn the “Joe Weider Self-Defense Pressure Points” just in case.
  7. “TOXIC PEOPLE”: As Charlie Munger (Warren Buffet’s associate) said, “You need to get them out of your life, even if you have to pay them”.
  8. “FORGET THE PAST”: Don’t try to relive the past and say should have said this or that to LF. This video on meditation is a great way to do it! (Here’s the shortened version). GOAL: EVERY DAY: Meditate For 20 Minutes! Connect To “Your Source”. Remember, the Universe has it covered. You didn’t miss anything and didn’t do anything wrong.
  9. “SHOULD THANK LF”: The experience with him taught me what I DON’T want to be in life. It also caused me so much pain that I’ve started down this journey of the “Law of Attraction” to help answer the questions that arose from it.
  10. “EASIER THAN YOU THINK”: In Esther Hick’s book “The Law of Attraction”, she states on page #51 “If the negative thought returns – and it may continue to do so for a while – just guide your thoughts more deliberately, and eventually it will not come up again”.
  11. Here’s the routine to meditate to each day: (20 Minute Air Conditioner Meditation).

It’s just after noon and I had am up from another great meditation. This is the 3rd one since I’ve made the determined choice to meditate for at least 20 minutes every day. I must say that I really look forward to connecting with my “Best Friend” (i.e.: “Vortex”) each day. In today’s lesson we just talked, and relaxed, much like having a coffee at La Vita Dolce in Southern Village, Chapel Hill. In fact, just sitting outside there at one of the tables came up quite a few times in my meditation today.

For some reason, I thought for the first pediatrician we had in Chapel Hill for our daughter, and how he asked me out to lunch at Ruby Tuesday’s one day. You know, I’m not exactly sure why he wanted that lunch. Maybe he was in need of a new friend? Or someone to talk to? At any rate, the lunch that I had with him that day over 10 years ago came to mind in my meditation this morning. What’s up with that? Not sure if the “Source” wants me to act on this in some way?

Like I said, I didn’t force today’s conversation, and no thoughts of the novel that I’m developing came up in the meditation today. In fact, it would seem like work to bring it up, and I just wanted to “chill”. As Abraham Hicks said in a recent YouTube video, you don’t want to force a novel. Be inspired! No more thoughts of the “red Mercedes convertible” came up either…

2024-01-30 - Convertible

I went to Panera Bread for a coffee this afternoon, and since La Vita Dolce came up in my meditation numerous times today, I thought I would take it out there and sit at one of the tables outside and enjoy my brew. Well, all the parking spots in front of it were taken, but on the way there, just inside Southern Village, I saw the red convertible with a black top shown in the photo to the left. It’s not a Mercedes, but very close. Is this telling me that my meditation is effective, but I need to work on the accuracy of it?

I had to pick up some groceries, so Aldi was next on my “ToDo” list. When I went to pick up a shopping cart, one was not pushed in properly, so I got a “free” quarter (see photo to the right). Alas, it is not a “KWF” quarter, but I’ll take it, and in fact I did… 🙂

While shopping I had to go to the bathroom and came across quite a few shopping carts just past the checkout, and the first one was not pushed in properly, so I thought I would exchange one of the quarters that I had in my pocket. I pushed it in, took the quarter, and put the quarter in my packet in its place as a sort of “exchange”. You can see this quarter in the photo to the left, and as you can see, it’s not a “KWF” quarter either. Oh well, it was worth a try. I think I’m still in the process of trying to “find” these things rather than let them come to me.

Incidentally, remember how yesterday I was thinking about creating a novel with a red-haired girl? Well, I saw four of them this afternoon! One at Panera Bread, two on the way to La Vita Dolce, and one at Aldi… What’s that all about? Not sure… Maybe the fact that it came up during yesterday’s meditation made me more on the lookout for them?

This evening, I worked on my verson of the Abraham Hicks video about how to create a novel. (go to the 5:38 point). Quentin Tarantino uses this method, so I wonder if one heard it from the other person?
