As was the case with yesterday, not much in the realm of “Law of Attraction” stuff today, but here are today’s events otherwise:
We finally made it to the “Hen & Hog” for breakfast this morning. Take a look at this interesting little sign that they had near our table (see photo to the right).
We then drove to “Forbidden Plateau Road” to view a property that we were considering, but just sold. Amanda tells us that they get snow as the elevation is higher, so it would be rather treacherous to drive the kids at school in the winter.
Next up was the house showing with Amanda on Willis Way. We love this property! My wife and daughter were trying to sell me on the place during the drive home, but I told them that I had already looked intensely at the Zillow listing and photos last light and definitely saw potential. The pictures on the listing do not do justice to the property!
We met Al (who built the barn) and Dave (the gardener who lives over the barn).
The house is owned by a dental hygienist who lives with her 101 year old mother.
We have the option of keeping their chickens.
There is an offer on this house, and it closes this evening, so we had to work fast! We made a counteroffer and paid $1000 over what they wanted for the house so that we “hopefully” will get it.
This evening, I drove to get gas for the RAV4 and took my daughter with me. We shared a coffee crisp and crunchie bar.
The owners of the Willis Way house have decided to sleep on it, and they will make their decision tomorrow!
