Daily Notes

Both kids are home sick from school today. I usually drop by Panera Bread after dropping my son off, but today I went down this morning for my “cup of brew” first thing. I had to get a small table near the booths as the UNC kids are back from spring break, but once a couple of them left I moved into one of the large booths to sit down, drink some coffee, relax, and do some reading.

I started off by beginning the Joe Weider’s Self-Defense Lesson #4 on “The Saga of Wrestling” I was able to finish the introduction.

I then moved on to the “Ask & It Is Given” Kindle Book and finished reading about “Process #17: The Focus Wheel Process”.

Next up was pages #101 to #103 of the “Presto” book.

I also found the time to watch video #1 of the “SpudFit” YouTube channel. I’m back to eating healthy, and plan to focus on mostly potatoes like he suggests.

I went to Aldi for some potatoes this afternoon and as I went to pick up a shopping cart, low and behold, there was a nickel on the ground (see photo to the right). As you can tell, it’s not the “KWF” coin that I have been looking for, but it’s a coin none-the-less. As you are well aware if you have been reading this blog, I’ve found quite a few quarters at Aldi, but this is the first time that I found a nickel. I think that as a person was looking for a quarter in order to secure a shopping cart a nickel fell out and they didn’t realize they lost it or didn’t bother to bend down and pick it up! Speculation of course…
