I contacted Panera Bread and they said that their systems were up and running, but when I got there, alas, they were still down. I don’t really care about their ordering system, but the free internet is what I’m looking for. They sure have their problems. I’m wondering if they were indeed the target of a cyber-attack. I stopped by before picking up our daughter at school, and you can see our van in the photo to the right. Alas, now “kwf” coins (or any coins for that matter).
While waiting for my daughter at school I did some research into Chuck Negron of “Three Dog Night”. He had a serious heroin addiction and was homeless and threatened with jail time before he finally kicked his habit in the early 90s. I’m interested in getting his book, but it is out of print, has no Kindle version, and the version that is available is over $100 on eBay! Ouch!
I’m gradually adding more and more information to my new novel. I enjoy using Gemini (previously called Bard) and Copilot (previously called ChatGPT), but they have scaled back the number of questions I can ask before it makes me start a new session. As such, it will not let me keep asking question after question so that I can create a novel. I have to kind of piece this part with that piece, which might not be too bad in the long run as it will force me to think how to weave the various pieces together.
