Daily Notes
The crowds are back at Panera Bread today. Not sure where they have been, maybe everyone was home for the Easter weekend? At any rate, I sat down at a table near the window to enjoy my cup of joe. The “regular” senior group was sitting at the big table in front of me (see photo to the right). You can see the lady (for some reason I think her name is Pat) who used to be on the Chapel Hill Town Council, and the elderly artist (along with his “painting”) below him. After sitting and reading for a bit, a lady with her husband and two small children were walking back and forth looking for a place, so I let them push the other table closer to my small table so they could sit there and let them have my spot. She was very grateful.
While at Panera Bread I read some of the “Law of Attraction” book and it explained violence and dying young in greater detail to me. Here are some excerpts:
- Page #142 “And that is the reason why there are so many who believe that they are victims. They believe that they are victims because they do not understand how they get what they get. They do not understand that they invite through their thought or through their attention”.
- Page #143 “There is even value in having an experience that removes you from this physical body. It is not for nothing”.
- Page #143 “You have lost your physical life on many occasions. You have lived thousands of lifetimes”.
- Page #145 “If there is one who gives much thought to, or one who speaks much about rape, then it is very likely that they will be the “victim”, by their own words, of such an experience. Because, by Law, you attract unto you the essence of that which you give thought to”.
I happened to come across the “5 Part Video Series” on Esther Hicks/Abraham Hicks explaining the Law of Attraction: “5 Part Video Series“
I read some more of the Chuck Negron book “Three Dog Nightmare” this evening while I was having dinner. I started reading this book because I was interested in the subject, but low and behold, there was a quote on page #26 that made me think what Abraham has been teaching, namely: “I realized that the anger was indeed more bearable than the fear”.
