2024-04-09 - Painting

I dropped my son off at elementary school this morning and then went to Panera Bread for a large cup of black “light roast”. I’ve been trying to stay away from the almond milk as of late… A new kick? 🙂 I pretty well got the coffee and went home…

The photo to the left shows the wall behind the coffee dispensing area. No idea what that painting is all about… 🙂 At any rate, there used to be a tiny table with two chairs in this area, but the table broke, and they have not replaced it.

I went back to Panera Bread to spend a bit more time this evening on the way to get groceries at Aldi. Here’s an interesting video by Abraham Hicks. At the 2 minute and 10 second point they talk about “It never feels good when you are trying to force something, it always feels tense”. This is what I think a lot of my problem is, trying to “work” the solution rather than “working on my alignment”, and letting the solution then just fall into place.

I’m up to page #147 of the “Presto” book by Penn Gillette. For the past four days I have been following his routine, and only having potatoes (with no seasonings, just plain), and black coffee. My weight is really coming down, and I don’t crave anything, so let’s see how much longer I keep this up…
