After dropping my son off at school I headed to Panera Bread for my morning dose of coffee. Light roast, black, as has been my custom as of late. I see that they sell little bags of orange scones these days (see photo to the right). I just looked, so that’s only 0 calories, right? 🙂
The Gibson Les Paul guitar that I purchased from Sweetwater came this afternoon. I had to wait at home for it to arrive so that I could sign for it. What a beautiful machine. Looks, feels, and sounds great! One interesting point about this guitar that I think fell into line with the “Law of Attraction”. Here goes…
I’ve been getting really frustrated as of late, and I think it might have to do with all the “stuff” that needs to get done before our trip to Courtenay. At any rate, the guitar came with almost everything, including candies to enjoy, but no pick. Well, I had a bunch around me, but I put them into one of the boxes I’ve been packing and could not figure out which one. I thought there might be one on, or near, the amp, but nope. I then looked on my desk as there were usually some there, but no again. This brought me to the guitar cases in my closet and I opened them one by one. I was getting more and more frustrated as I opened each of them up and found no pick. Well, as I was about to open the last guitar case, I remembered my teachings of the “Law of Attraction” and how if you are frustrated you are not aligned and will get more of what you are thinking about. So, I visioned a guitar pick in this final case, and “tried to be joyful” in the moment, and low and behold, this LAST CASE had ONE, not two, but ONE pick in it! Problem solved via the “Law of Attraction”… 🙂
