Daily Notes
I went to Quality Foods for their breakfast this morning. Kind of a cafeteria style model, but the lady did bring me the finished eggs to my table when they were done (see photo to the right).
While here I checked my Minnesota Mega Millions lottery ticket (see photo to the left). Not a winner!
I’m wondering if I will win on one of these lottery tickets. I find that I’m fighting back some negative thoughts in regards to the hassle of picking up the winnings and figuring out how to invest and use the money once I do get it. Will this derail the process? Hope not…but it might!
Next up was Home Depot where I picked up the lawn mower I saw on their website the other day (see photo to the right). It went up since last night, but when I showed them the photo I took from their website they honored the original price, which was $398!
This afternoon my daughter wanted to go get some flour and baking mix, so I took her to the “Great Canadian Superstore”. I also picked up some other groceries for the family. My wife tasked me with dinner tonight, so we will be having the frozen “Suisse Chalet Chicken Pot Pie” that I picked up the other day. Our daughter didn’t like the crust, and our son didn’t like anything about it, so it looks like it won’t be on our meal agenda anytime soon.
Oh wow! I see that I made $2.98 on my “Law of Attraction” YouTube channel yesterday! Back into making good money…I just have to keep posting good videos!
My wife was out walking with our kids this evening and picked up a newspaper for me, “The Comox Valley Record”. It’s the local paper, and is free, and comes out every Thursday. Strange as it may seem, for such a newspaper guy like me, I’m out of “print” newspapers these days. They are just one more thing to throw out, are harder to navigate around than a digital device like an Amazon Fire or Tablet, and waste our precious trees. Having said that, there are a lot of good coupons in this paper so I will continue to get it as long as the price is FREE!
While out on their walk they met a Chinese family who live down the road. They have a daughter who is the same age as our daughter.
