Daily Notes
This morning I had a nice cup of coffee in my “Maple Mug” while I checked out today’s WINNING lottery ticket, which is the “Virginia Powerball”. Virginia has a limit before you can remain anonymous, so I’m not sure if that will “derail” my winning it! And the answer is: NOPE (see photo to the left).
I drove out to Campbell River this morning to ServiceBC to get some, ta da, “Services” done! The Campbell River location is supposed to be less busy than the Courtenay location, but there were 7 people in front of me today. (The picture to the right shows the beautiful scenery on the way there). While in Campbell River I:
- Applied for my ServiceBC Card.
- Applied for my Driver’s License.
- Applied for my BC Health Card.
They should all be arriving by mail in two weeks.
Before my afternoon nap I forked the green lawn clippings behind our old shed at the back of our property. This will be the compost area, at least for now. I do need to get a proper “pitch fork” when I’m out tomorrow to make this job easier, and also a garden hose that will reach all the way back to this area. Water is one of the main ingredients for a compost pile!
I had a great meditation session this afternoon. I think the cool, crisp air of Courtenay helps me to get into a meditative state easier (as long as I don’t fall asleep that is). I just focused on my breathing, and taking deep breaths. I also kept in the back of my mind that I only have to meditate now, the Universe will take care of everything else. I also focused on finding who my “Spiritual Teacher” will be, and the EASY WAY to do things, so that like the video above says “The Universe will bend over backwards to give you what you want. While in the meditative state this afternoon the thought of the final scene of the tv series “Breaking Bad” came to mind, where Walter breaks in and releases Jesse… Was this inspired? Not sure, but I can’t figure out how it fits into my life, at least right now.
This afternoon my wife took our daughter shopping. They did some thrifting, but also went to Walmart and Winners. At Walmart they picked up a white toaster for the main house and a black toaster for the “Barn Suite”.
I’m thinking about making this DIY shower cleaner… Simple and cheap! Also, getting a bucket and Epsom salts to soak my feet!
