Daily Notes
Big news this morning! Joe Biden has dropped out of the Presidential race. It looks like rather than just “anointing” Harris directly, there will be a vote to see who becomes the Democratic candidate. Exciting times…
I started watching the movie “Taxi Driver” while I drank my Thrifty’s Compliments “Vanilla Hazelnut” coffee (see photo to the right). It keeps “appearing” and then “disappearing” from Netflix, so I figured I had better watch it while it’s still available… I also heated up some potatoes from the instant pot with a sweet potato on top for my breakfast… 🙂
As I was reading “The Law of Attraction” by Esther & Jerry Hicks, a quote on page #175 jumped out at me… “If you don’t know what you want, then it is good for you to set forth the intent: I want to know what I want”.
I bought some Japanese sweet potatoes at Thrifty’s this afternoon. There is always a problem with peeling sweet potatoes so I thought I would try something different this evening, cut them into rings and put them into the air fryer (see photo to the left). They didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped. Without the “casing”, they came out dry. It looks like I’m back to air frying them with their “casing” intact, and enjoy the moistness that the water provides.
I was out and about this afternoon but didn’t think about “Segment Intending” once… I’m going to have to figure out how to work it into my daily routine more seamlessly. I did look for some coins though, but it seems that quarters and other stray coins are harder to find in Canada. There I go again, looking at the physical and not realizing that all things are possible with the “Law of Attraction”.
