Daily Notes

Copilot Question of the Day: “I’m feeling discouraged and “Down on my Luck” today… What does Abraham Hicks say I should do to go from here to manifesting all I desire in life and how long will it take?”

Copilot’s Answer: I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. Abraham Hicks offers some practical steps to help you move from feeling discouraged to manifesting your desires:

  1. Accept Where You Are: Acknowledge your current feelings without judgment. This acceptance is the first step towards feeling better1.
  2. Understand Your Emotions: Recognize that negative emotions are a natural part of life and can help you understand what you truly want. They signal that your current thoughts are out of alignment with your true self1.
  3. Gradual Improvement: Aim for small, incremental improvements in your mood. Focus on more general, less negative thoughts before moving towards positive ones1.
  4. Use Affirmations: Gentle affirmations can help soothe your mind. As you begin to feel calmer, let these affirmations evolve into a “rampage of appreciation,” where you focus on things you are grateful for2.
  5. Celebrate Small Wins: Embrace each step forward, no matter how small. Celebrate your progress and focus on positive anticipation3.

As for how long it will take, it varies for everyone. The key is to be patient and consistent with these practices. Manifesting your desires is a journey, and each step you take brings you closer to your goals.

Remember, it’s okay to feel down sometimes. Be kind to yourself and take it one step at a time. 🌟

I thought that I would spend some time today figuring out the cost of airline tickets from Comox to Cebu, Philippines if I was rich…

Here’s the price of an “Economy Ticket” (see photo to the right). It is based on leaving this Monday evening, which gives a couple of days to pack and get my affairs in order on this end. The stay, as you can tell, is for a week. The cost is only $2,011 … So it’s a pretty inexpensive flight overall, especially if I was rich! The flight time is long, a day+, which is a bit of a drag… Given the fact that it’s an economy ticket, there would be no frills…just a cheap way to get to Cebu… Certainly not the best option if I was rich!

Next up is something called “Premium Economy” (see photo to the right). I did a Copilot search and here is what it said: The main differences between an “Economy” and a “Premium Economy” airline ticket generally include:

Seating and Space

  • Economy: Seats are narrower with less legroom and limited recline.
  • Premium Economy: Offers wider seats, more legroom (usually 5-7 inches more), and greater recline.

Amenities and Services

  • Economy: Basic amenities, often with additional charges for checked baggage, in-flight meals, and entertainment.
  • Premium Economy: Enhanced amenities such as complimentary meals, drinks, larger personal entertainment screens, and sometimes additional perks like amenity kits and priority boarding.

Location and Privacy

  • Economy: Seats are typically located towards the rear of the plane.
  • Premium Economy: Seats are situated in a separate section, often with more privacy and sometimes separated by a curtain.

Cost

  • Economy: The most affordable option, ideal for budget-conscious travelers.
  • Premium Economy: More expensive than Economy, but significantly cheaper than Business Class.

The last one that I searched was “Business Class” (see photo to the right). Here is what Copilot had to say about the benefits of a “Business Class” ticket: Flying Business Class offers a range of benefits that can significantly enhance your travel experience:

Comfort and Space

  • Lie-Flat Seats: Many airlines offer seats that can be converted into fully flat beds, allowing you to rest comfortably during long flights.
  • More Space: Business Class seats are generally wider and offer more legroom compared to Economy and Premium Economy.

Enhanced Services

  • Priority Boarding and Check-In: Enjoy faster check-in, priority boarding, and expedited security screening.
  • Chauffeur Service: Some airlines provide a chauffeur service to and from the airport.

In-Flight Amenities

  • Gourmet Dining: Business Class passengers are treated to high-quality meals and a wide selection of beverages.
  • Enhanced Entertainment: Larger personal screens and a wider selection of entertainment options.

On-Ground Perks

  • Lounge Access: Access to exclusive Business Class lounges with comfortable seating, complimentary food and drinks, and business facilities.
  • Fast-Track Services: Expedited services through immigration and customs.

Work and Productivity

  • In-Seat Power: Power outlets and USB ports to keep your devices charged.
  • Quiet Environment: A more peaceful cabin environment, ideal for working or relaxing.

Additional Perks

  • Amenity Kits: Complimentary amenity kits with toiletries and other essentials.
  • Better Service: Higher staff-to-passenger ratio ensures more personalized service.

Conclusion: I also asked for a “First Class Ticket”, but none were available. I think this might be because there is not such a thing a “First Class” from Comox to Vancouver as the planes are too small? Given the three remaining options of “Economy”, “Premium Economy”, and “Business Class”, I would opt for “Business Class”. Copilot said that there was a significant price difference between “Premium Economy” and “Business Class”, but according to my findings to the Philippines, the price difference is only $1093 more…certainly a small jump in price considering all that it offers.
