Daily Notes
Christmas has come to the “Barn Suite” (see photo to the right). I can’t remember the last time that I bought a Christmas decoration. In fact, this might be the first time. The MIDI makes a perfect spot for it for now. I just have to make sure it doesn’t leak or leave any stains!
I ordered a stand for my Amazon Fire tablet. This should help to sit the tablet at an angle so that I can read it better in restaurants and coffee shops. It comes on Sunday!
I went to Tim Horton’s this evening for a chili, coffee, and donut. Despite the fact that it was in the pouring rain, there were other more major issues at bay. They were:
- I stood around for quite a while before the people, who were talking behind the counter, came to take my order.
- There were no seats, but one was occupied by a homeless guy who brought his own chips and energy drink. I didn’t see any Tim Horton’s food.
- It was quite expensive for what you got.
I’m bringing this up as Tim Horton’s has sure gone downhill since it emerged on the scene in the town I grew up in during the mid-70’s. It’s changed hands many times, but it is owned by a non-Canadian entity now, so it looks like nobody really cares about it anymore. Sad…
