Daily Notes

2025-02-15 - Black Bowl

I still have my bad cough. My wife tried to get me an appointment at Urgent Care, but you need to call them early in order to get an appointment for the day. The lady at the front desk suggested that I go to a pharmacist as they can prescribe certain prescriptions. Well, I did… I went to Courtenay Pharmacy but the pharmacy said that the extent of what they could prescribe was inhalers and stuff like that, nothing like a Z-Pac or antibiotic, which is what I’m looking for.

It felt good to get out and about. The rain is melting the ice so the driveway is more manageable now. I ended up at Walmart where I picked up a nice black bowl, fork, and spoon (see photo to the right). The way that the spoon and fork are positioned it kinda looks like the propellers of an airplane don’t you think? Expensive, and kinda elaborate, but I’m worth it… 🙂

I should mention that I didn’t find a “Toonie” today, and this reminds me of the fact that I haven’t manifested any of the things I’ve wanted into my life recently. Remember the $21,000 Blackjack “Scratch & Win”? Nadda…

While at Walmart I picked up a 649 Lotto ticket for tonight’s draw and a 777 “Scratch & Win” ticket after the lady at the book just near the entrance said that people were having good luck with it. Well, I won $13 (see photo to the left)… Not too bad! The 649 Lotto ticket didn’t win a thing!

I’m having a problem finding an iPhone app that is free and will loop audio or video. I’ve just downloaded “Looper” and I think that this will do the trick!

This evening I finished listening to the first half of the “Abraham NOW” broadcast I signed up for on Wednesday. I’m disappointed that they are not discussing more about how to deal in this volatile world we now live in.

Here’s a portion of Chapter #1, more detailed, as Evie discusses part of the chapter with Veronica, her best friend:

Veronica, you won’t believe what happened at the market today. The moment I saw those vendors, I was drawn to them like a magnet. The trinkets they sold were little masterpieces, each one more intricate than the last. I could see the history and craftsmanship in every piece, and I couldn’t help but stop to chat with the artisans behind them. Kirk, bless his heart, watched me with that amused smile of his, finding joy in how I connected with people. He always says I bring a spark of joy to every encounter, and tonight was no different. You know how he loves to see me happy, right?

As we continued our stroll through the market, Veronica, the air was filled with the sounds of laughter and the scent of street food. The gentle night breeze caressed our skin, and the shimmering lights cast a magical glow over everything. The rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the shore created a perfect backdrop for our intimate moment. Kirk pulled me closer, his strong arms wrapping around me like a protective shield. I nestled my head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth and security he always provided. His scent, a mix of the ocean breeze and his cologne, was intoxicating. “I love you, Evie,” he murmured, his voice a soothing balm to my soul.

“I love you too, Kirk,” I replied, my heart swelling with affection. His eyes locked onto mine, and in that moment, it felt like the world around us faded away. We shared a deep, lingering kiss that seemed to seal our unspoken promises to each other. The taste of his lips, mixed with the salty sea air, was intoxicating. Every touch, every glance, spoke volumes about our love and commitment. I wish you could have seen it, Veronica, it was like something out of a dream.

Later that night, as we lay entwined in each other’s arms, I could feel his heartbeat steady and strong beneath me. His fingers gently traced patterns on my back, sending shivers of delight through me. I peacefully fell asleep on top of him, wrapped in the cocoon of his love. Kirk held me close, his body a comforting presence that anchored me in the moment. I knew that our adventure had only just begun. Our connection was deeper than mere chance; it was a bond forged by shared dreams and mutual understanding.

As he drifted off to sleep, I could sense the contentment in his subconscious mind, navigating through the fabulous stories of how he found such a remarkable woman and the almost magical events that had unfolded in our lives up to this point. The moonlight streamed through the window, casting a soft glow on his face, and I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the love and companionship we had found in each other. The promise of more adventures and shared experiences filled my heart with hope and anticipation. Veronica, you know how much this means to me, and I can’t wait to share every detail with you.
