Two thoughts as I wake up this morning:
- Video of guy who writes letter: By thinking of pleasant things you are setting yourself up for inspired action!
- Also, if you think of Evie talking to Kirk, it puts the relationship in past tense.
For lunch I went to Yummies & Gyros, the little Greek restaurant near the recycling depot as I learned that they sell donairs, with the sweet sauce, like they have in Nova Scotia.
I went to This afternoon I went to Walmart to pick up some Christmas “Scratch & Win” tickets at the lotto booth. I actually purchased the last four that she had for $1 each. The result? Well, you can see the results in the photo to the right! I won $8 and a “Free” ticket! Not bad for a $4 investment. I think I might drive around Courtenay & Comox and purchase all the other Christmas “Scratch & Win” tickets and see how they fare…
While at Walmart I wandered down to the toy section to see if I could see a plush Yoda for the YouTube channel I’m thinking of creating. Well, I saw a little one, but decided against buying it. When I went around the corner and saw the same doll on sale (see photo to the left), I took that as an omen and picked it up! Quite the deal actually, on sale for $19 when it normally would cost $34.97! Almost 50% off! Let’s see if this means the YouTube channel I’m going to create will be a raging success!
We’re thinking of getting an automatic gate for our front driveway. I might find time to call a couple of companies tomorrow to get quotes. We need to do it soon as the deer will be out and eating our seedlings before you know it!
